There is no doubt that American history has been white-washed, and needs to be significantly amplified to include all  heroes and major contributors regardless of race.

But The 1619 Project replaces purposeful historical omissions with blatant historical lies, and posits that ALL history written by whites is suspect and therefore cannot be amended. This leaves no other recourse than to destroy the past, and begin anew.

Supposedly, whites are permanently privileged, blacks are permanently oppressed, and no self-agency or lack thereof can change that. Therefore, it is the duty of authoritative bodies to take from the privileged and give the takings to the oppressed.

Doing so, however, does nothing to root out racism, encourages adding oneself to more & more oppressed categories in order to take from the privileged, and forever labels blacks as unable to succeed without involuntary redistribution from whites.

When Marxism failed to take over the world, socialists blamed western culture. They then began cultural revolutions to take over entertainment, sex education, and church teachings.

The diversity training now being pushed in corporations, government agencies, schools and colleges, is really cultural Marxist redistribution theory disguised as racial/gender/disability equity classes.
